Eagle Rock Art Guild’s mission is to promote visual fine arts in the Idaho Falls region through education, community service, and cultural programming for all ages.
Eagle Rock Art Guild, formally known as Idaho Falls Art Guild until 1995 was founded in 1948 by a group of local artists; Helen Aupperle, Suzanne Fonnesbeck, Fred Ochi, and Ina Oyler. These four individuals were eager to promote visual fine art within the community and were at the forefront of the cultural art tradition within the Idaho Falls community. As of 2016, Eagle Rock Art Guild proudly continues the tradition of promote art and art appreciation within the community as we approach our 67th Annual Spring Show and 62nd Annual Sidewalk Show.
Throughout the years Eagle Rock Art Guild offers both community and membership exhibits, art education classes, and community support and involvement.
Eagle Rock Art Guild is an all volunteer art organization who offer a supportive environment for growth and development of individual artist. We offer a variety of community classes; including children’s art class, Senior Citizens, and membership art education programs to promote the appreciation of art. Annual exhibits for the community and membership include the Bank of Idaho Youth art Show, Helen Aupperle Senior High School Scholarship Exhibit, Spring Show, Photography Show, Gallery Walk Exhibits, Sidewalk Art Festival, Senior Citizens Art Show, Children’s Art Show, and Holiday Art Show.
Also, Eagle Rock Art Guild supports and contributes our service to the Development Workshop during the Festival of Trees.
